There is a pretty standard way of doing this in harmony w/ PBS.  It just 
amounts to enabling /etc/security/access.conf and then using the PBS 
prologue/epilogue scripts to grant and then revoke privileges before and 
after jobs.  I have had plans for a long time to make this a configurable 
option in the PBS OSCAR package, but like all good intentions...  ;-)
I may be able to write some scripts/instructions up and post them depending 
on how long you can wait...
