I searched for perl-DBI in google and discovered there has been a new release 
of the perl-DBD-mysql rpm intended for fedora (2.9003-0.n0i.1).  Is the older 
version of that rpm used in the instalation or have there been mods to the rpm 
that would need to be duplicated somehow?

I can manage it if its just a mater of a changeout of a couple of files I 
think.  I assume I would just dump the updated rpm in the big rpm directory 
and take out the one that was "broken"...?  If this is a file you use 
directly, are there other perl-dbi related rpms I might want to check out for 
updates?

Perhaps this one instead? perl-DBI-1.37-1.i386.rpm
(also intended for fedora core 1)
