<keeping list updated>

I'm thinking that the problem may not be directly related to OSCAR.  I
assume the other wizard steps finished properly?  If the image build
failed, there may have been a small window that popped up saying what
happened.  Can you paste the contents of the oscarinstall.log from one
of the sessions in which the image build failed?

Just to verify, are you using OSCAR 3.0 or 2.2.1?
