Bruce,
The error about /etc/fstab during image creation is normal and fine.
FYI it is caused by the rpm installation package post-install scripts
run by OSCAR to build the image, not really from OSCAR itself.
/etc/fstab doesn't exist itself, but is built into the image creation
script and written directly from there.
The bigger problem you have is the message from parted that /dev/hda
doesn't exist. This is probably due to the appropriate kernel driver
for your chipset not being in the (rather old) PXE booting kernel (based
on Linux 2.4.20). For more details about this look at the mailing list
or contact me directly, for where to get a newer kernel.
Also, it would help to get some more details of the hardware you are
using.
