Here's my wild guess: Go back and rebuild a new client image, leave everything as default, in the "Disk Partition File" option, make sure 'scsi' is your option, then rebuild the image.
At the next step, "Setup Networking...", skip the "Setup Network Boot" option. If you do the "Setup Network Boot", the installation will replace the files in the /tftpboot directory. Good luck!
