It might be beneficial to try out the OSCAR 4.0 beta which I believe
has a more recent version of SIS and may include beter support for
your network card.  The following link includes information about how
to access the SVN repository where the development tree is stored.

It is still in the process of early beta testing so may include some
unintentional features.  Refer questions regarding the development
tree to the oscar-devel group.
