Hi Chen,
Yes, it is me who setup the OSCR 4.0 on RHEL AS3 (i386) successfully.
My client nodes have lilo instead of grub surprisingly. I checked the rpmlist and there is no grub but lilo, so that lilo should be installed on the client nodes.
Anyway, I have not had your problems.
I wonder why lilo causes the problem that you had.
Chen, if you don't mind, can you send the error messages or log when you did with lilo?
I will look into the problem more precisely.
Thanks,
DongInn.

Hi Chen:
Okay I checked redhat-3as-i386.rpmlist and grub indeed isn't there. So in that case you do need to add grub to the list if you want to use that instead.
However, another developer has successfully set up OSCAR on RHEL3AS/i386 with lilo on the client nodes without problems though.
Cheers,
Bernard

As in Florrent and Ivan's emails, seems this is true, have to replace lilo with grub in rpmlist. No I meant what your server is running (grub or lilo).
I never have to explicitly edit my rpmlist to have grub used by default... this is somewhat strange - have to investigate.
Cheers,
Cheers, Chen
