Ciao Salvatore, what about mixing Oscar SRPMS and some binary 64bit tested RPM's, such as
http://atrpms.net/dist/fc3/python24/python24-tools-2.4-2_4.rhfc3.at.x86_64.rpm.html (you mentioned python so i found this one on the Net, but I think you could be also lucky looking both into Fedora distribution cd's (both into SRPMS and RPMS folder)? I know this could result in a "patchwork" but ... the alternative is that you bring to me your PC's so I could try too :)))) Hope this help (almost for most common package...maybe ganglia will be not so easy.. try starting from tgz package and install it manually. Ganglia is "only" a fronted and a pair of daemons. Configuration files are'nt too cryptic (I had to rename my cluster from the default name to a custom name...mainly for a cosmetic reason... offcourse after the installation (me stupid :) and I did it by hand) ivan Alle Thursday 13 January 2005 16:05, Salvatore Di Nardo ha scritto: > Ok, i've installed FD2 x64, downloaded the "extra Crispy" version of > oscar 4.0, but ive the following issue: > > Some srpms will not be rebuilt ( python2 end with errors and both > ganglia srpms will not be rebuilt due to lack of makefile O_o ). > Dunno about other srpms because i gave up ! > > command i used was: rpmbuild --rebuild <srpm pachage> > > What should i do now?
