Is your RHEL WS3 freshly installed?
If not, would you try to re-install RHEL WS3 and remember to copy mysql-server-3.23.58-1.i386.rpm file to /tftpboot/rpm?
Actually the mysql-server rpm file is not on your CDs. So you should get the SRPM file (mysql-3.23.58-1.src.rpm) from the
ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/enterprise/3/en/os/i386/SRPMS/
and then rebuild the mysql-server rpm from the SRPM. (rpmbuild --rebuild mysql-3.23.58-1.src.rpm).
I think if you re-install RHEL WS3, then your rpmbuil is not installed yet.
So you may want to install the following RPMS to rebuild the mysql-server rpm and these rpms do not hurt OSCAR installation at all.
- autoconf
- automake
- gperf
- readline-devel
- gcc-c++
- ncurses-devel
- zlib-devel
- libtool
- gcc
- libstdc++-devel
And the above rpms are available in your /tftpboot/rpm if you copied all rpms of your CDs to it.
Please, let me know if you have the same problem after doing re-installation of RHEL WS3.
I think it is not a best way to solve your problem but it can be a workaround.

Yes, I copied all rpm files from 4 CDs. Also I got dhpc*.src.rpm file.
However, I still got the same error.

The master node I have here has only one ethernet card. Is it matter?
