The Open Cluster Group (OCG) is pleased to announce the release of OSCAR
4.2, the following is a list of new features since the last version:

    * x86_64 support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 and 4
    * Fedora Core 3, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 and Mandriva Linux 10.1
support
    * "Monitor Cluster Deployment" widget for real-time monitoring of
cluster deployment
    * "Build AutoInstall Floppy" replaced by "Build AutoInstall CD"
    * Replaced tftp-server with atftp-server for better scalability
    * Software RAIDs on cluster nodes are now supported
    * Better SATA HD hardware support
    * Ganglia updated to v3.0.1
    * PVM updated to v3.4.5+4
    * TORQUE updated to v1.2.0p5
    * SystemImager updated to v3.5.3
    * MPICH updated to v1.2.7

An updated OSCAR version (4.2.1) will be released shortly which adds
support to Fedora Core 4 x86 and Fedora Core 3 x86_64 (as well as a few
minor bugfixes).
