Hi Marcelo: I'd like to point out that if you install a node using OSCAR, it will wipe your hard disk as it will image the computer with its own OS (namely the OS you are using on the headnode).
I'm not sure if you are aware of this or not - if the installation was successful, Debian will be gone from the hard drive and Scientific Linux will be installed instead. So before the computer is imaged using OSCAR, you won't be able to ssh into it without password - you can only do that after the OSCAR image has been installed and booted on that node. And this is configured automatically for you, you do not need to modify any settings manually. Having said that, it seems that you are having issues with tftpboot - I recommend you try Michael and Fernando's suggestions. Common mistake with tftp timeout is if you forgot to click on the "Setup Network Boot" button during the "Setup Networking" step. Perhaps sending along your oscarinstall.log will help too.
