Hi Everybody

We're trying to install redhat-el-4.2 using oscar-4.2 on Sun X4100 servers.
These servers have a scsi controller that needs drivers, so naturally, the node
install stage fails.
Even though the systemimager version in oscar4.2 is 3.5.3, the instructions in
this document:
http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/trac/oscar/wiki/SystemImager still work
- We are able to run the si_prepareclient command and new kernel and initrd
files are generated in /etc/systemimager/boot. The initrd file contains indeed
the right modules. We copied the files to /tftpboot and enlargened the
ramdisk_size.
However the node still doesn't boot. The console gets stuck so I'm not sure what
happens, but it seems that the initrd wasn't mounted perfectly - there are
messages about missing things (everything, actually) in the /proc.

The original initrd.img file is a ROMfs file, and the new file is an EXT2fs
file. I've tried generating a ROM image of this file but that didn't even mount
in the node boot. I think that the version of mkcramfs that comes with RH4 is
too new.

I've tried downloading the nightly build (5.1blahblahblah) but that didn't
install. I've followed the instructions in the README file, but upon
installation there were a few missing dependencies (elementtree and twisted)
even though they were in the /tftpboot/oscar/rhel4... directory.

What can I do?
Is there a version of oscar-4.2 with a newer version of systemimager? Do you
know the correct way to create a ROMfs initrd.img file?

Thanks a lot!
