Hello,

I'm curious: did you use two images for the installation? One for the AMDs and
one for the INTELs? That way you can have different hardware.lst files for
different nodes easilly. And if hardware.lst's don't work, different
modprobe.conf files.

After booting from the rescue CD you should:
 - edit the /etc/modprobe.conf
 - maybe also edit the hardware.lst file (check the PCI-IDs for your sata_svw)
 - run (on the rescue-booted client node)
    systemconfigurator --verbose --runboot

Only the last command is re-generating the sc-initrd!
