It also appears you are missing the libaio package which is a prerequisite
and is probably on the distribution CDs (and therefore probably in your
/tftpboot directory already). This has been popping up a fair bit lately,
so I am not sure why we didn't see it in beta testing. You may be using a
different setup than the testers for Mandrivia. We should probably post the
testing matrix, including distro and used package sets where applicable.

OSCAR requires a fully qualified domain name for the head node (which it
then uses to name the rest of the nodes). It does not have to be a "real"
domain name as long as you are on a local subnet, where the names are not
important to anyone else. What I usually do is use oscarhead.oscardomainfor example,
which isn't "legal" but satisfies OSCAR. You can make it the
domain for your university as well, whatever you like. Like I said, it is
only for your local DNS on your cluster anyway, so it shouldn't cause anyone
else any problems.

So in your case you would need defined (at the lest in /etc/hosts,
probably could do this with "hostname" also)

127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain
192.168.0.1 marsu marsu.oscardomain

Then oscar would add the later nodes as

192.168.0.2 oscarnode01.oscardomain

I am not certain where the problem comes in when you do not have the
domain name, but I know that has been in the docs for a long time, so I
assume it breaks something if it is not there :)
