Is the DL140 using the HP/compaq array controller? (cciss) An easy way to test, is type "modprobe cciss" on the console after the installation fails on the node.
I have some DL585G2s with the CCISS controller, and my fix is a little hackish (add modprobe cciss to the oscarimage.master script by hand..), and it would be better to find a "real" fix..
