Yes but that problem is supposed to be fixed and other users actually reported 
success... anyway, i will try to improve the code at least in order to get more 
details, i have to admit that today, it is difficult for me to understand what 
is wrong on one specific platform for that specific point.

I opened a ticket so you can be sure we will deal with that at some point.

I have checked to make sure there is no MySQL root password. Anyway,  
one can easily circumvent the problem by starting mysqld by hand, so  
this isn't really high priority.
