Dear all,
I am a researcher and developer working on HPC clusters in a group. Every body
in our groups work on one of cluster aspects and one of software suit relating
to our work. I'm working on OSCAR.
I have an important question, a cluster suit like Kerrighed have providing an
SSI as an important goal. MPI, Maui, PBS, Ganglia, SGE and ... can be installed
on any system and work properly. Now, what reason is distinguishing OSCAR from
aggregation of this tools? In other word, what is the main goal of OSCAR and
its basic concept?
If OSCAR is not an aggregation of some tools, what concept is behind of that?
