Hi Fellow Oscar Users,

A colleague and myself have been trying to update our node image using Oscar
6.0.5. We use CERN¹s Scientific Linux distro and have had success in the
past but recently trying to build a Scientific Linux 5.5 based image no such
joy. Scientific Linux 5.4 works fine, so we made an image using the packages
there, but then when we try and update to 5.5 using yume we get the same
errors as when we try and build the image (I do believe this is a Repo
problem with the Distro but thought I would check here first).

The Error is:

Error Downloading Packages:
device-mapper-multipath-0.4.7-34.el5.x86_64: failure:
SL/device-mapper-multipath-0.4.7-34.el5.x86_64.rpm from 5x_x86_64:
[Errno 256] No more mirrors to try. gdb-7.0.1-23.el5.x86_64: failure:
SL/gdb-7.0.1-23.el5.x86_64.rpm from 5x_x86_64: [Errno 256] No more
mirrors to try. kpartx-0.4.7-34.el5.x86_64: failure:
SL/kpartx-0.4.7-34.el5.x86_64.rpm from 5x_x86_64: [Errno 256] No more
mirrors to try.

So in our case the actual files are (on the mirror / repos):

device-mapper-multipath-0.4.7-34.el5_5.1.x86_64.rpm (Extra "_5.1")
gdb-7.0.1-23.el5_5.1.x86_64.rpm
kpartx-0.4.7-34.el5_5.1.x86_64.rpm

Is there something in Oscar / sysimager we can play with here? Or do I need
to contact the Scientific Linux people?

Thanks in advance,
