I chose the title of this message because there's an old thread on
this list which seems to be about a related problem. See
http://www.mail-archive.com/oscar-users@lists.sourceforge.net/msg05988.html

I'm brand new at this business, so I don't know the jargon, or much of
anything. So far I'm just following recipes. I'm trying to install
OSCAR version 5.1rc1, and I am through step 6. At this point I boot
the client over the net. It gets its address through DHCP and downloads
some stuff by tftp. The Linux kernel boots. Then it does dhclient
again (Why?). The curious thing is that repeats a series of messages
about DHCPDISCOVER on ib0 and lo. ib0 is the InfiniBand interface,
which should have nothing to do with this. The network connection on
the client is eth0. After doing this for a while, a lot of stuff
scrolls off the screen, there's a bunch of text from System Imager,
BusyBox starts, and finally it says,
/my_modules # nc: connect: Network is unreachable

This is similar to the issue in the thread I mentioned above, with
the addition of InfiniBand for extra confusion. The earlier discussion
didn't seem to reach a definite conclusion.
