I keep finding various configuration files, and I add modprobe commands where they seem appropriate. I don't remember all the places I have done that. In my ignorance, I don't know * if this will have any effect at all * which file I should do it in * whether I need to rebuild the image afterward
One thing keeps lurking in my mind: UYOK. If I could build the idg driver into a kernel, that might help. There could be a problem because the head node has Centos 5.5, while I'm trying to install 5.2 on the clients. I don't know if I have the materials from which to make a compatible kernel. I suppose it wouldn't hurt anything if I made a custom 5.5 kernel and tried it out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Palm PDK Hot Apps Program offers developers who use the Plug-In Development Kit to bring their C/C++ apps to Palm for a share of $1 Million in cash or HP Products.
