Hello, I am trying to install OSCAR 6.1 on CentOS-5-x86_64. After starting over with the the unstable version the package selection, image creation, and client imaging steps of the wizard went seemingly fine. There still appears to be a problem with TORQUE in Step 7: Completing cluster setup. I believe the error to be somewhere within the establishment of the node list as seen in the following lines:
ln411: [torque] Updating pbs_server nodes
ln412: /opt/pbs/bin/pbsnodes: Server has no node list MSG=node list is empty -
check 'server_priv/nodes' file
I have attached a reduced log file for the oscar wizard because it was too
large to be submitted to the list, I would be willing to send complete log
files if they would be helpful. Step 7 begins at line 129. I checked the file
/var/spool/pbs/server_priv/nodes and noticed that is completely empty and I
believe this should list the nodes for pbs.
I also notice that System-sanity reports the following error, but I don't think
this has anything to do with the PBS/Torque isssue.(I haven't been able to find
a fix to this anywhere):
