Thanks a lot DongInn for your help,

You're right, I forgot to use the -r option in my ncftp session ;-)
I was in hurry to see my wife for valentine's day ;-)

It's fixed. Though, I'm unsatisfied with it as:
- there are multiple versions of the same package (this is wired?)
- there are missing packages

I'll try to build more packages this morning....

Best regards,

Olivier.

Thanks Olivier for setting up the rhel5 repository.

I synced this repo to
http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/repos/6.1.0/rhel-5-x86_64/ too.

But it seems that yours has not setup meta repo data.

I've updated the repo url to reflect the correct oscar version.

Hi,

I've given a try to build oscar on CentOS-5.9, but:

the file /etc/oscar/oscar-packager/*6.1* files are not up to date, thus I need
to update it at each compilation failure.
So far, I've been able to build this repo which is far from being complete:
http://olivier.lahaye1.free.fr/OSCAR/repos/stable/rhel-5-x86_64/
It is based on Oscar-6.1.0 and was built on a CentOS-5.9 with epel repos and
rpmforge repo enabled.

Expect dependancies problem if you didn't setup those repos.(epel and rpmforge)
I'll try to do better next time, for now, I still need to fix issues to build
missing packages.

Important note: This build is completely untested and just like DongInn said,
CentOS-6 have great chances to work better (even the unstable release) (IMHO).
You've been warned.

PS: Thanks to you I was able to fix a bug in CentOS.pm that wrongly made the
assumption that 5.9 is a 6.0beta which is not :-)

Objet : [Oscar-users] OSCAR 6.x for RedHat/CentOs 5.9 64-bit repositories
unavailable

Hi all,

I am trying to get the OSCAR 6.1 (or 6.0) release for CentOS 5.9 64-bit but it
seems it is not anymore available at
http://bison.csm.ornl.gov/repos/rhel-5-x86_64 as written into the OSCAR
documentation
(http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/trac/oscar/wiki/repoTesting).

Looking at the “OSCAR clustering developer discussions”
I understand the repos for CentOS x86_64 were recently deleted.

Could you please help me find another repository I can work with? I really need
a stable version working with CentOS 5.9 64-bit.

Please advise,
Costel SEITAN
