outsource - pbworks.com works just fine for event planning if you require it

of course if someone is happy to run a wiki, and not let it get rooted, 
go for it. i just don't believe it will be very populated. besides, wrt 
event planning, don't you reckon you'd not want it to be too out in the 
open, and just a little more "private"?
