ah bro Azrul,

I was just about to say, for kids (even adults) "learning by exploring
& experiance" is probably what is most effective.

This is what Logo, Squeak/Smalltalk is all about. These are based on
the findings of Seymour Papert, Mervin Minsky, Alan Kay, Nicholas
Negroponte - all MIT professors that did a lot of research on the
process of learning and (artificial/human) intelligence.

A lot of all this was manifested in the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC)
project which unfortunately got torpedoed by Microsoft & Intel, but
they are still survivng.

(the above bunch of guys are the designers or Logo, Squeak, OLPC, lots
of other things and had strong influences on Lego Mindstorm robots!)

Google OLPC and Squeak, or any of the above names and you will find many ideas.

For kids, I wld suggest NOT following a strict syllabus, peak their
interest by letting them explore and then realising they can control
some object with programming... Logo & Squeak is good for this, this
is what the above is all about. I'm sure that's the experiance Azrul
had...
