earlier versions of the player restricted the api to the version of the
swf. Did they remove this restriction in the new player? I haven't
tested it yet.

Hi Ralf,
It will only be useful to access new opcodes (if any). I think that most of
the new features will come from new API Classes/methods so they can be used
even if your SWF Header version is 7 or lower.
