There's similar programs that have been around for a while, I use
x2vnc (connects a X11 pc to any machine running a vnc server)
personally to go from my linux machine to the windows one next to it.
There are also x2x (two X11 pc's) and win2vnc (a windows machine and
any machine running a vnc server).

Right, but vnc has limitations since you are tunneling the UI across the network, here you are tunneling the mouse/keyboard events seamlessly. It like having a wide desktop that crosses operating systems...pretty sweet.
