As I think someone mentioned earlier, you need to make sure that the
file is executable.  'Permission denied' should be read 'Permission to
execute this file has not been granted.'

I don't think that CVS will update the file permissions if you simply
commit it, CVS will use the permissions that the file has when you add
or import it.

So, try deleting syncmail from the CVSROOT module, and then re-add
another copy of the script, first ensuring that you've got the
execute-flag turned on.

If I recall correctly, it's possibly to make files executable with a
checkbox somewhere in the Eclipse file-properties dialog.
