true, like i said on your blog, i think the FDT offer may be a good
incentive to increase the number of open source flash projects. Im
tempted to come up with one myself just so i can get a free copy :)
also people are free to talk about anything, im not going to get upset,
i know this is still early days in the whole osflash movement,
but i would like to see more energy going into ASDT and other open
source development features, and the creation of a true open source
flash development platform with a good feature set.
on that point, can anybody here let me know what is going on with ASDT?
Is someone taking some responsibility for the project as a whole? Ive
sent various emails / forum posts about joining the project. I have the
sources checked out and have started working on a couple of things, but
without co-ordination I have a feeling that i'll only end up doing
something that someone else is already doing.
peace,
Martin

Hi,
but FDT is free for developers who participate in Flash Open Source projects
which are hosted on sourceforge or osflash.org so i guess it won't do a harm
seeing this news here.
To Flashout: Flashout is still the "F" in FAME(S) and helped the community
to start with the workflow which we are using now.
Cheers,
Sönke

hmm, im in now way trying to be funny here, and im sure
someone may be
able to help, but both Flashout AND FDT are commercial products.
Im not the abitrator of what this list is about, but i think its
important that we strive to stay focused on open source flash
development, rather than being a place to go for people who dont use
MM's IDE for flash development.
sorry, i dont know an answer.
like i said, someone here may know and im not going to get mad if you
talk about it :)
the FDT forums may be a good place to go.
thanks

Hi,
Has anyone been able to get Flashout.traceReplacer working with FDT?
I put the -trace=Flashout.traceReplacer into my build
command, and it
builds successfully, but I haven't been able to get output
to show in
the AS Logger window. Any idea what the problem is?
Thanks!
-Daniel
