I remeber asking Mike Downey about this a few weeks ago and the answer i got was 'around six months after the win/mac release'. So that would imply that flash 8 is due in April, flash 8.5 in Q4 2006. He did emphasis that there aren't many people working on the linux release (in fact it may only be one guy!) but i suppose anything's better than nothing... right?
