I'm quite sure recording a webcam input isn't possible through AMFPHP.
I know it's possible with Flash Communication Server, with
NetConnection, NetStream, and Camera, and is kind of basic :
create a NetConnection and connect it to your Flash Com Server,
create a NetStream attached to the NetConnection, (ns=new
NetStream(netconnection_object);)
create a webcam Camera object (webcam = Camera.get()),
attach the webcam object to the netstream,
use ns.publish("name_of_the_file","record")...
a name_of_the_file.flv file will be created somewhere on the Flash Com
Server and record the stream until you close it (ns.close());
all this is quite well documented in Actionscript Server Side
Reference, with more precise examples than mine...
