This is an interesting post you bring to us. Starting in July of 1999 I
began work with an internet startup call eTradeshow, owned by a company
called Comercis (may they rest in peace). We developed an online tool
that allowed the selling and purchasing of booth space. This was built
in Flash 5/Generator with an ASP/SQL backend. The entire product was
dynamic and rich in content. After configuring the product through the
tool, a new page(swf) was created and visible to anyone they shared the
link with.

Here is an industry news source about the tool. Scroll down to Industry
news. It is dated as well (June 20th 2000):

Here is the text from the article.
eTradeshow.com Announces eFloorPlanner Application Service BALTIMORE,
June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- eTradeshow.com, Inc. today announced Version 2.0
of their new eFloorPlanner application service at the IAEM Mid-Year
Meeting. eFloorPlanner EventManager is an Internet tool used to help
trade show organizers manage their booth sales process and dynamically
reconfigure the show floor -- on-line and in real-time. eFloorPlanner
AttendeePlanner allows trade show attendees to pre-plan their visit to a
trade show, research exhibitors, and locate them on the show floor.

Should I add this to the blog Aral?

Thanks,
Steve
