Quite right, thank you. I think that when I use regex in _javascript_ It is a little more forgiving. Never been that great with regex tho

character except A-Z, a-z, and 0-9". The ^ at the front negates the
pattern.

It is always returning false, im sure my syntax is wrong. Can you point me in the right direction please?
