I have the same problem, using Flasc 1.4 on MX2004 Pro 7.2 (the dll file is in the correct place).

When you put the dll in, did you restart the IDE?  and you're sure it's in the configuration/External libraries folder - not the first run folder?

Sorry,

This still doesn't work for me.
I have the .dll in my local setting folder and the new MXP installed but I still get the same error.

I have kind of given up with this for now and I am using a trial of F8 (we have not upgraded the IDE yet) which works fine in terms of GUI operation.

Sorry it seems that I failed to commit the new 1.4 mxp ;)

It's up there now,

Hi.
I've got the same problem.
This is what I use:
- flasc 1.4 (that's what I downloaded anyway, but extension manager says
1.3.0)
- FlashMX 2004 with 7.2 update. Have the FLfile.dll in
"C:\Program\Macromedia\Flash MX 2004\en\First Run\External Libraries"
