Another point is get the respect of linux users (in general they hate Flash), changing their state of mind is not an easy task and should cost a significant amount of time.
Anyway, is great that Adobe take the linux world seriously...we need it! ;)

Agreed. I was just pointing out that software sales on Linux are not
proven yet... the return on investment may not be as directly measurable
as online store sales, but that doesn't mean that there isn't any softer
ROI, that was my main point there.
