Hello Hans,

First of all, thanks to everyone who supports this list, I love it!
Second of all this is my First post! Heh(yay) I hope I can help. From
what I can deduce there is still a few open bugs for Firefox centered
around the status bar and 'throbber'(loading animation dealy bobber) not
behaving correctly even though a page may be all happy and displaying
its most awesome information of the day.

I currently experience this issue in a list that loads avatars that are
GD created jpgs(non-prog of course). After all have loaded (checked
using Charles and Ethereal for request status) the status bar NEVER
fully resolves, but says "transferring data from avatar.blah.com"

Here is a HUGE bug that started as this issue, then turned into a bunch
of issue....and still is not fixed *sigh*

FROM THE FF BUGZILLA REPORTS
================================

This bug is still present in Milestone 0.9.5 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98;
en-US; rv:0.9.5) Gecko/20011011). I just tested using the testcase linked above.

Over 70000 submitted bugs later, and we still ahve not fixed it? What's going
on?

Quick notice, the throbber appears that the document is done loading, but the
status bar still says "Transfering document form bugzilla.mozilla.org". Looking
at my firewall status, Mozilla is not still connected to the server, despite
what the status bar states.

================================
The full bug entry can be seen here:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39310

I know this does not solve your problem, but I hope it makes you feel a
tad less insane ;)
