Im taking your word for that, those are impressive numbers indeed =)

PHP also benefits from GCC greatly.. I'm sure a custom build (K7/686) 
put side to side to Neko will make the distance shorter, but I dont 
think it will be as fast Neko even then..

However.. these benchmarks are really far from real-life examples, and 
therefore I still kind of feel like this is a sales talk (yea i know 
your not selling anything). Simply getting a result from a database and 
dumping the results would be a lot closer the truth.. In any case there 
are a lot of factors involved when comparing 2 languages for speed.

It is still very impressing.. I give you that, but hearing "our product 
is x times faster than product y" is exactly the kind of stuff that made 
me question your objectivity regarding this subject. Kudos on making 
plain operations as fast as that, because thats where a language rests 
on.. it's not a complete picture though.

w/e.. I was (and still am) impressed by you work on mtasc and haxe.. 
keep up the spirit
