Hi All, I'll try out the IDE in a minute. Sounds very promising! I don't really agree with Nicolas on the haXe part. Although I do agree that 'adding' support could never hurt anyone and can only benefit the people who are using it. I like the idea that the IDE will enable you to work with js in the way it is supposed to be. I for one am having problems with coming to terms with the whole 'javascript being kind of compiled' thingie. It gives me less control (I think, let me say loud and clear, haxe might be great I have only hunches, no facts.) about the final product and/or javascript file I an going to serve to my visitors. I do recognize the great advantages a strictly typed language has though. So let's just hope they add it to JS asap :)

In particular, for people used to ActionScript2, having to "go back" to a dynamicly typed language such as Javascript is surely a big problem. Have you considered supporting haXe ? That would enable AFLAX users to develop using a powerful highlevel language, which is not so much different from AS2 or Java so quite easy to learn anyway.
