The above lists seem to be more of a project description than a category. What I would suggest is categorizing the projects according to their use in a developer's workflow. Here's a list with some example projects: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Frontend [for widgets, GUI components]: BBC OSFlash, Fludge, fosFORO Flash Tools [for low-level stuff, eg. code generation, display, conversion] eg hamtasc, FlashDevelop, mxml editor, asigen, swfmill Testing [for debugging, testing, running swfs]: Xray, mtasc unitTests, JavaFlash Backend + Glue: Red5, SabreAMF, JavaFlashBridge Frameworks: ActionStep, AsWing, Fling, pixlib Wildcard [=p]: FC64 emulator <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Multiple listing of a project under different categories should be avoided, since it shows that a project is trying to be too many things and not specific. > Thoughts? > > Aral > > > _______________________________________________ > osflash mailing list > [email protected] > http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/osflash_osflash.org > -- Cheers, Ray Chuan _______________________________________________ osflash mailing list [email protected] http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/osflash_osflash.org
