This is an amazing statement. People complain when people talk about what they want and think (because there is not enough "code commit") and people complain when no one responds, because it means "no one cares". This is silly. If *anyone* is going to do anything, it *is* useful to hear what potential users have to say, even if they have absolutely *no* interest or capacity to help. In fact if there wasnt any talking then there would be the sense that "no one cared" and therefore no motivation for anyone to actually do anything. Talk often (but not always) leads to action. Either way, its ok. But complaining about when people *do* say things seems counterproductive.
