I started exploring Flex2 again after getting enthused by Apollo, I don't have a huge amount of commercial flash related work on so didn't really want the builder cost at the moment. Plus when I was using the beta a while back you end up spending all your time in the code view anyhow.
FD isn't quite up to FB standard yet but the rate it's coming along I can see it being a serious contender in a very short space of time without having to wait ages for intermitant FB releases. I think this is one project where we can all really benefit from one of the major open source advantages - want a feature, request it or develop it and have it. Lets hope so anyway :) On 30/12/06, Keith Peters <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
That's great Danny. I must admit, although I was the FlashDevelop poster child, I've switched over to Flex Builder and FDT. But it sounds like it's come a long way in just the last month or so. Might have to check it out again. If anyone's interested heres a noobs guide to AS3/Flex2 development using FlashDevelop: http://danny-t.co.uk/index.php/tutorials/free-flex2-development-environment/ Any comments/feedback much appreciated.
