Hi Jason, While mxmlc is the doiminant and most popular compiler. There is however a the asc_authoring compiler that comes with Flash CS3. I believe it is based off of mxmlc. There is also swfkit that also provides some interesting command line help for building flash projects. If you own Flash CS3 they can be found in the Adobe Flash CS3/Configuration/Actionscript 3.0/ folder.
