Hi all, I just bought a new server [first computer I've fully built for myself] which runs Ubuntu. I like it so much I've been thinking about switching from my native MacOS to fully submersing myself in Linux. Are there any AS3 developers out there that code/design exclusively in Linux or do you *need* the retail Flash IDE? Lately I've been building the GUI of my apps with Flash and using TextMate to code up the brains. I'm guessing that GEdit/Kate are Linux answers to TM, but what is a good solution for working on FLA's? If I'm working in Linux and my designer sends me an FLA, what would be an appropriate (the best) open source alternative to edit it with?
