It's the other way round.

You should ask "free flash players" developers to support flash player
features, rather than asking flash/AS devs to lower the bar to support an
objectively inferior product.

Not that I have anything about Gnash or other projects, really, and I
understand that keeping up with FP is almost impossible. Nevertheless, what
you're asking is ludicrous.
