That is a strange lib, where did you find this? I do not have such thing
here. I could be some kind of leftover.

No, certainly not by me. VRML is more likely a dead than "publish to
web" format. Furthermore, there are exactly zero free crossplatform VRML
plugins available. The whole intention behind was to have a loader for
various legacy files and possibility to load output produced by few
commercial apps.

Translating OSG scenegraph to VRML is in theory possible, but lot of
things do not have VRML counterparts (shaders, for example). Using VRML
to only export the geometry is doable, but there are better formats
for data exchange. Moreover, you can as well use your authoring tool to
save to VRML directly.
