Okay. Thanks for the link. But are you sure there is no problem on other platforms? What if I write code under Windows and then compile it under Linux (which is what I sometimes do)? And sorry for asking so much questions, but shouldn't the functions be named like "convertCurrentCodepageToUTF8()"?
