Hi Martin,

I managed to get Qt rendering above OSG in a HUD style. I have created a
Delta3D example:
http://www.delta3d.org/forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=18707

I was actually wondering if you could send your first example, the one that used osgQt::QGraphicsViewAdapter and osgQt::QWidgetImage. Perhaps you think it's a dead end (I saw your comments about the frame rate) but perhaps I or others can look at it and see what we can do with it.

The direction you're taking in the Delta3D forum thread seems to be more of a dead end to me, since it forces Qt and OSG to run single threaded. However, perhaps the principle of getting Qt to render through OpenGL directly onto the OSG graphics context can be reused, by simply creating a custom OSG drawable to make Qt render at the right time. That would remove the need to disable buffer swap as well.

Anyways, please send me the code so I can have a look. Thanks,

J-S
