Hi Hartwig,
I've have now merged and refactored your changes to fit with
svn/trunk. While merging the changes I had to adjusted the indenting
style and add extra { } to make sure the code fitted in the coding
style of the rest of the OSG - we use four spaces rather than for two.
I have also better fallbacks in case the transfer function is not
properly set up.
I have tested the results of applying a transfer function before and
after your changes and can happily say that the regression has now
been fixed. Thanks ;-)
Changes now checked into svn/trunk.
