Hi Michele, There have been problems with mixing Qt3 and Qt4 on one system and having this detected. There have been attempts to resolve this, but they so far have broken as much as they've solved so they haven't been checked in.
On my new Kubunto system I haven't tried getting the QT example to compile, but on my older Suse 10.0 it picked up on Qt3 without any problems. Robert.
