Hi all, I fixed the problem.
So in case anyone is interested, it's not a problem with the new compiz fusion desktop effects on Ubuntu Gutsy. It's a problem with xserver-xgl. I removed that package, and everything worked beautifully, even with desktop effects enabled. -Mike Robert Osfield wrote: > Hi Mike, > > I'm running Kubuntu 7.10 right now and OSG works as expected. > > My guess is that the new 3d desktop is screwing things up w.r.t the x > server, try turning this off. > > Robert. > > On 10/23/07, Mike Wozniewski <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >> I just upgraded to Ubuntu Gutsy, and any I have a strange problem. >> >> When I close an OSG window, it seems like the ENTER button is being >> continuously pressed, and I can't do anything except restart my X server. >> >> This ONLY OCCURS for applications which manage their own >> GraphicsContexts.
