Hi, There could be several reasons, most of which relate to how you process the image as a texture in Max. Try these things:
- Keep material simple: Picture in difuse slot in Max. Export and test. If it fails, it is likely a error in installation of the OSG plugi-in/settins. - If that's OK, then problem is likely in the complexity of materials. Make sure all objects have UVX maps attached. - All reflections must be bit-maps (no ray trace, etc.) - Some of the material shaders are not usable inside OSG (like Toon an Mental Ray). Phongs seem to work best. - No procedural maps Good luck, Gary On 12/28/07, deepti g <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi > Sorry for not writing this in the previous mail and naming the images > incorrectly. > > *original1.JPG - image of my 3dsmax model > osg1.jpg -- image of the exported osg file > **original2.JPG - IMAGE OF THE EXPORTED OSG FILE > osg2.jpg -- IMAGE OF MY 3DSMAX MODEL > * > > Thnx. > On Dec 28, 2007 6:17 PM, deepti g <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Hi all > > I have built a model in 3dsmax9.
